I am writing to extend a heartfelt invitation to you to become Champions of Childhood Cancer Gold /Pearl Circle member and donate to support children with cancer and their families in India. India accounts for almost 20% of the world’s childhood cancer (0-19 years of age) burden.  Survival rates are low compared to 80-90% in high income countries primarily because access to treatment, care and support is still only about 53%. Cankids is the only NGO which works in partnership with over 141 childhood cancer treating centers and with State Government health departments through its Sajhakaran – shared care model, to find children with cancer across districts and remote villages and towns, and support them to get diagnosed and commence treatment at the earliest. Every year it directly supports over 22000 children for treatment costs and holistic care under a YANA – you are not alone in the social support protocol that holds the hands of the family through their cancer journey. Children who are not getting detected, diagnosed, referred and treated are dying! Our 2030 goals aligned to the WHO Global initiative on Childhood Cancer are access financial protection and 60% survival for all children with cancer across India.

Even as we scale up and grow each year to reach and hold the hands of every child with cancer in the country, what we most need, at the current time, is committed annual giving each year for growth, scale up and sustainability. Your commitment to philanthropy has the power to transform lives and bring hope to those who need it most.   The Champions of Childhood Cancer Gold /Pearl Circle is an exclusive group of individuals who share a common goal: to champion the fight against childhood cancer and ensure that every child has the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Champions of the Gold Circle” provide annual unrestricted giving for broader, foundational level of support for growth and sustainability.  Gold Circle  Members give a minimum donation of INR 2 lakh pa / SGD 3300/ USD 2400 pa. Our top donor to the Gold Circle currently is giving USD 50,000 yearly. They may also donate to our Corpus /Endowment Fund.

Champions of Pearl Circle” is for specific project support by High Net Worth Individual (HNI) donors and who want to see impact of giving to that specific project or area of support for an extended period of time. A key Singaporean donor has supported our Retinoblastoma (eye cancer) Project for over 10 years. The fund is named in her husband’s memory. In the last 2 years her son has also started supporting the Project. Together they donate USD 50000 pa.
