Patient Support Interventions

Psychological support for patients, caregivers, and survivors—delivered where they are.

Special Intervention Clinics (Face-to-Face / Virtual / Teletherapy) provide assessments and counselling across stages: first line of treatment, relapse, pre/post-surgery, palliation, end-of-life, bereavement, and survivorship.

CanNurture eClinic: bi-weekly online service for survivors, Parent Support Groups, and CanKids staff.

Survivor Assistance Program: addresses post-traumatic stress with tailored therapeutic interventions.

Terminal & Bereavement Support: guidance on disclosure and preparing families when care transitions to terminal.

Patient & Parent Teaching: psycho-education on coping with stress, anxiety, and behavioural issues.
