Ready to take on childhood cancer? Let’s do Cancer Ko Dhishoom Dhishoom!
Childhood cancer needs early action, proper care and all of us coming together. United by Unique, this year CanKids brings cure and care together, because every child’s journey is different. Dhishoom means real action: children treated on time, families supported through care and systems growing stronger so no child is left behind. Across India, children, families, healthcare workers, partners and communities are coming together to make this change real. Dhishoom by Dhishoom, we’re turning challenges into impact for children with cancer.
Meet the families and children whose courage, love and resilience bring these numbers to life.
Integrating Cure and Patient-Centred Care Demonstrating Impact: From Challenge to Change
On International Childhood Cancer Day 2026, CanKids KidsCan convened a national Media & Advocacy Briefing bringing together central government leadership, clinicians, CSR representatives, hospital partners, survivors, parents and media.
The session reinforced childhood cancer as a governance and health systems priority — requiring coordinated national action toward India’s 2030 goals of 100% access, 100% financial protection and 60% survival.
